Does anyone still hunt with a handgun?

I am looking to 'blood; my 45 Bisley this fall. I had a mount installed to accept a red dot in place of the read sight and I love it. I just have regular "old man eyes" at 50 and I'm struggling with irons. The dot sights have been life changing with a handgun
I had a Ruger bisley in 45 Colt. I killed a lot of deer and hogs with that gun. It was extremely accurate.

Loaded up some 200 gr. Speer "magnum" hollow points, bullets no longer made on top of 10.5 grs. of Unique. This probably gives around 1400 fps out of my 10" Contender . Keeping velocity low to preserve penetration. It still expands and sails through three gallon milk jugs at 50 yards and is a tackdriver, I am taking with me next trip and since it's a meat hunt probably pictures to follow.

I'm struggling with this revolver. It's "hunting" accurate but I can definitely do better. Even my little 4" 357 shoots better in my hands

I'm sure the bisley is accurate, I'm struggling a little to get it to shoot.
I have a first model Vaquero in 45 Colt that shoots pretty good but I am reaching the point where I have to wear .25 reading glasses to see the sights properly. It is a rare variant that is "gunmetal grey".
