Does anyone have an R Bros Rifle in the midwest?

I live near Des Moines and am considering an R Bros LW Hunter or Lightweight Long Range Hunter. I'd like to see in person/ handle one/ talk with someone with firsthand experience. Does anyone in Iowa/ Missouri or surrounding states have I could talk to/ come look at prior to making a purchase?

Sorry, I'm not close to you, but I have an R Bros LW Hunter in 300Win Mag that is a terrific rifle. Extremely accurate, and reasonably light weight.

Exactly. I had the pleasure of competing with Travis a few years back. Those rifles shoot really well and Travis is top shelf.

He has one of my rifles now. Haven't had him smith anything for me yet, but I have yet to hear anything negative about him. He always seems available to talk etc. I wouldn't second guess his reputation...

I know you asked for.someone local and I am farfrom that but I will echo what everyone else has said - Travis is a first rate gunsmith and builds excellent rifles. And very helpful. Call him or email him.

I ordered a LWLR rifle last winter and I don't think I would ever look elsewhere. Great communication and service as well as first hand info and experience when it comes to helping you make decisions for.how you want your rifle.
