Just replaced cam and lifters in my 2014 ram 1500
5.7 hemi

Wrapping it up. Put the push rods in and made sure they were seated correct and torqued to 16ft lbs starting from center out. I noticed some side to side movement on a couple intake lifters. Is this normal? I was expecting them to be pretty solid.

Or not as much movement. Any idea ? Normal? Somthings up? Could it be because the motor is on a stand with no oil in it and the new lifters are pumped up yet ? Video below

I always thought the hemi tick was from warped exhaust manifold bolts.

It is . That’s the best one to get lol. They also wiped lifters like crazy on these trucks. Very big well know problem. They need cam and lifters
