I recently got a set, spent a full day behind em in mountain country scouting, very happy for dollar, would like to compare to a buds swaros and will probably get the chance soon. Not sure how many times I said 'holy chit these binos r incredible' that day but it was a lot! I will never look at my 10s the same way again. Will try to revisit this thread if I get them together with the swaros as I'm curious. They were clear and color neutral and once focused at a medium distance I bet the whole second half of day I never adjusted focus, closer or wayout there seemed like it was on. Very easy on the eyes and holy cow do they bring the mountains to you!

I'd like to compare them to Vortex Kaibab too since they are at the same price. So far all the reviews have been favorable.

I'm sure you've read all you could about them also, I read the one from the coues guys who put a panel together and reviewed the zeiss, dr, swaro, and Kaibab etc. and I read everything I could on the dr. from the bird/astronomy guys also to feel pretty good about dropping 1k on them. Not many comparo's I could find other than the coues one so I picked it apart several times and it seemed like the four or so guys all agreed in the order they preferred the big 15's with the zeiss 1st, dr nobilem 2nd just a smidge ahead of the swaro, and the Kaibab they weren't big fans of from recollection and my buddy with the swaro has a buddy with the kaibabs who after spending time with the swaro put the kaibabs up for sale and comments I got from swaro owner was there was no comparison, not in same league. So my info/research seems to lead me to the dr. nobilem as a chunkier/heavier/much less expensive but swaro image ability or touch better in resolution and ease on eyes for hours with the swaro having a slight contrast advantage but both mentioned as having lots of contrast. Anyhow, i'm happy for the dollar. Oh and even in that panel guys said they'd probably buy the swaro over the dr. for warranty/service advantages also...something to consider. When I bought the swaro's about twice the price and to have as many glass options as I do now I just can't justify it. I have my minimal mountain pack glass and my not so minimal heavier stuff when everything isn't on my back in tough terrain. Hope to run into the swaro buddy next month or two for quick looky as I've never looked through them.
