Do you REALLY need a stabilizer on your hunting bow?

Does the bow feel better now after installing the stabilizer? I also want to install it because I have read on a lot of forums and sites that it helps in dampening noise and vibration and making it easier to hold the bow steady, it will surely help me, but all my friends are telling me that it doesn't have almost any effect and only affects negatively. Even thus I want at least to try it, and see by myself if it works properly and doesn't feel uncomfortable. I have already found a good model on https://hibipod.com/best-bow-stabilizer-reviews/, and now I hesitate to buy it or not. It's a NAP Camo Apache Stabilizer, it's only 48 dollars on amazon. What's your opinion?

More weight is gonna make the bow harder to move. This will come in handy when you are getting buck fever shakes. The only draw back to weight is if you are holding for a long time and start to break down.
