I run them through a tumbler to prevent getting crap in my dies too. But it’s not necessary. In my early days of reloading I didn’t always. I don’t need shiny cartridges all the time but I do like the look of them better. The last batches I tested at the range appealed to me seeing the shining brass and bright Barnes bullets. They looked as good or better than factory brass in advertisements.Need to? No. I choose to because it adds no time to my process and I like clean brass in my sizing die and I like the look of bright shiny brass.![]()
