DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AERO PRECISION

Sounds like the not-so-uncommon business model of having a decent product and terrible customer service.
 
I had a similar experience with poor customer service from them. Took a year to get a replacement action then was missing parts, took a few more weeks to get those parts that aren't available for purchase.
 
I had the same experience with them as well. purchased an upper and hand guard in the middle of December took forever to get it and wasted hours of my life trying to get in contact with them by every means available and never did,
Will not order from them again you are much better off ordering through an Aero dealer.
 
Aero used to be the pride of WA for a lot of guys out here from my perspective. I was stoked when they came out with a bolt action, but quickly disappointed in the base weight. I did pick up a Aero lower before the AWB at an LGS.

Huge bummer to see them falling so hard.

Id recommend just ordering any other brand possible. But maybe you’d have better luck through a dealer
 
Glad I am not the only one. I still have a couple of orders that have items not shipped from November of last year. I placed an order a week ago, and an item already shipped off that order. No logic to it.
 
I’ve typically liked Aero. I recently had a routine issue on fitament of a hand guard. No luck love chat. Emailed. Tried calling but couldn’t get through. I got an email back Y MONTHS LATER. From a component company that’s crazy to me to have a simple issue and get crickets for 6 months.
 
Yeah don’t waste your time. I’ve built four of there Solus actions and I love them but idk that I’ll continue. The last one I ordered, I ended up calling my card company and having them pull back the transaction. The action was ordered in November of last year and still haven’t heard a word. Even the card company emailed me the other day saying that can’t get a response out of them.
 
I was just about to post my sob story about aero, when an email comes about shipping notification. Lo and behold my order from 12/7 shipped! “In stock” they said. Bull.
So you mean there is a chance? I placed my order 3 weeks after yours. I've placed orders in years past and had no issues. I hope they get it together.
 
For anyone with open orders and are also on Reddit. The official AP account (u/aero-precision / Kurt) was helping people get their orders through. I just wanted an ETA on a barreled action because I placed the order knowing they weren't fulfilling right away. He got it pushed through and had it shipped next business day.

For the record, no one wants to reach out to customer service / community accounts to get order help. I hope they get this order backlog sorted out and "in-stock" items get shipped with normal processing times.
