DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AERO PRECISION

This is unfortunate. I live about 25 miles from them and before the AWB, they were great. Bought many, many parts from them with no issues.

For those that have received AR parts from them, can you tell where they are coming from?
 
I ordered a handful of things from them back in October that were all “in stock”. I even compromised on a few items since what I originally wanted wasn’t. After 2 months, only receiving a few items, and unable to get in contact with them in any way. I looked at their instagram and a lot of people were disputing the charge going by the comments so I did the same… I was able to dispute a portion of the charge and got the money back.

Unfortunately I had received my lower receiver, which they shipped promptly, in a custom color so I ended up finding all the other pieces I needed on other websites after half a day of searching… Aero did send me two more things weeks after disputing the charges so I have them in a box waiting for something to happen so I can return them.

I checked the tracking number from one of the things they sent me and it came from Tacoma, WA
 
Purchased an action on Black Friday. Just got to my ffl about a week and half ago. Was about 8 weeks. Not sure they had it on website but they did say increased lead times as of now. Even if it was 2 months 35% off was too good to pass up.
 
I bought a different adapter for my suppressor from them. I’m at a month with no word. I tried calling and was on hold for 2 hours. Hoping it will just show soon. Based on everything else I have read it’s going to be a minute.

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with the live chat or waiting on hold. I’ve spent easily 12 hours on hold between the two and you won’t get anyone. The live chat will count you down until you get low in line and then kick you off.

I’ve never been able to find the live chat button on their site. But the hold is dumb and never speak to a person. It’s to bad that a company that seems to be gaining popularity is struggling with basic needs (shipping and customer service).

The live chat pops up on their website in the bottom right corner from 10:00-4:30 central time. But don’t waste your time with it. You’ll never get through to anyone.
 
Update.

It’s been 2 months since I placed my order from Aero Precision. I never once got a response from them through every form of communication they offered. I ended up doing a chargeback with my CC company. I would have been somewhat understanding and gave them more time if I could have just got a response from them about my order.

I will personally never order any Aero Precision stuff ever again. I would caution anyone else who is thinking about purchasing something from them to give it some thought before they do. I have no idea how they will be able to stay in business if things don’t change. I’m disappointed to say the least because I like their products. But lesson learned and hopefully some people see this post and save themselves the headache I went through.
 
If you run into them at the Expo you should ask about lead times, shipping etc. I'd be curious what they say. Their customer service never picks up the phone when you call for updates after months of no contact.

After I had ended up doing a chargeback through my CC company on Thursday, I wake up to a shipping notification from Aero Precision on my action this morning. I find it quite the coincidence that after I do a chargeback on Thursday they ship it this morning.

I ended up calling my CC company today and they reversed the chargeback. So needless to say, I’ll have another action I’ll be looking to get rid of now.

I ended up calling my CC company today and they reversed the chargeback. So needless to say, I’ll have another action I’ll be looking to get rid of now.
I'm sure that was strategic on their part. Your action was probably destined for someone else until they needed to overturn your chargeback.

This whole thing stinks.
