DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AERO PRECISION

I’m sure some people are already aware of this, but for those of you that aren’t, do not purchase anything from Aero Precision.

I purchased an action from them over 7 weeks ago. I gave them a month to ship the action before I tried contacting them. Since then I have spent hours on the live chat, phone, and sent numerous emails and have never once made contact with anyone or received an answer. I will never again purchase from or support Aero Precision. I would caution everyone to do the same.

It’s not even the fact of how long it’s taking them to ship it. If I would have just received one response from anyone then this wouldn’t be such a big deal. I hope I can save someone from the headache I’ve dealt with.

I made the same mistake with their black friday sale.

I tried calling, the chat feature, emails etc to cancel my order and get a refund. I ended up getting ahold of them via facebook chat and was able to get my order canceled and refunded the same day.

Are you an FFL? Have you asked your FFL if they have sent them the required info (license) so aero can ship to them?

My FFL is in their system and they have his required license info. So that’s not the issue.

A chargeback is an option a lot of guys on the AR forums are currently doing with Aero.

Was hoping to not have to do this as I purchased it on sale. But at this point it’s looks like it’s either that or just accept the unreasonably long wait.

At this point that’s probably what I’m into as I won’t be shooting it this season anyway. I just don’t understand how that’s acceptable for a company their size. But lesson learned. Just won’t ever purchase any of their products again.

It appeared as the action was in stock. Said 5-8 days lead time for shipping and 1-2 weeks for FFL orders. I also purchased some trigger pins at the same time as the action. Those shipped after approximately 3 weeks. But no word on the action.

Aero has been listing items as "in-stock" with current shipping times as 3-5 days, ffl items 1-2 weeks. They are almost never hitting that mark, often taking months to ship with no communication.

Makes me wonder if they are using the money from the sales to fund manufacturing the items, but I have no idea if its actually true.

This would make the most sense. I mean they have no problem taking the money but not shipping items. Said in stock when I ordered it but now it currently shows out of stock.

I’m over 7 weeks now. I just don’t feel that’s acceptable especially with zero communication throughout all of this. Which I know it’s computer generated but they sure can send out daily deals through email and text.

This is really sad to hear, they are a local company to me and before our AWB came in they were great at getting lowers out to us before the deadline.
