DIY Trekking Pole Shooting Sticks with Ski Strap

Found yet another use for the indestructible voile ski straps. Just wrap high on trekking poles and it makes for pretty decent shooting sticks.

I was about to cut the straps off my poles but we started doing basically the same thing. Loop both straps over the other pole and you have adjustable shooting sticks. Ive shot quite a few coyotes this winter using these trekker shooting sticks.

Clever and cheap. I like it! If you want to spend a few bucks on something that locks more solid check out the wiser precision quick stix. It's also pretty great to just lock the poles together so they don't flop around.
