DIY Slingshot Rifle

It’s been snowy and cold here the past couple days so I scrounged around in my shop and found some pieces and parts to make a slingshot rifle.

I had an old Tru-Ball archery release and thought it would make a good trigger mechanism.
I welded a small rod to extend the trigger thru the stock. I bent the tang down and glued it in place on the stock.

Rocks are a little hard to come by with 8-10” of snow, but I think it will sling em pretty good.

A fun little project!
 
Oh man!! Super cool idea. I'm going to have to try to build one of these for my son.

I purchased these for my dad for Christmas, seem like a great alternative to rocks, marbles, ball bearings, etc. they're reasonably priced and biodegradable.


A guy can even make his own - even cheaper!
