DIY leather rifle stock shell holder

My dad continues to buy guns and everything else he wants. I was out of gift ideas and decided to make this for his rifle.

I’m not then best artisan, but I think it turned out well.

Looks real nice. Did you wet form the shell holders around a cartridge while you stitched it in?

Yes. The leather I had around was pretty thick 3-4 mm.

I sized it around a 30-06, but it fit down to my 6 arc and up to 300 WM.
