I am looking to return to Idaho for a fall black bear hunt and was hoping for suggestions on units that would be suitable for spot and stalk hunting. I hunted the Selway out of Twin Lakes trail head in the past but it was so thick was never able to find a location to do any glassing. Did about a 30 mile loop back to the trail head so covered a good bit of ground. Avalanche chutes were the only possibility’s if they weren’t over grown already. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
