DIY Deer target

Just wanted to pass this on. My Daughter use a projector and outline a deer. She trace it on paper. I trace it on a piece of 1/4” plywood and used a jig saw. Hope it inspires you and saves you some money.

Pretty cool me and my buddy are doing something like that but with a 3 inch hole or whatever the iron deer has so we can shoot that but not blow up arrows when me miss. We like to drink some beer and shoot we take the beer cans and stick em up there start at 40 and go back to 80 to see who hits the cans first and gets the most hits on it…about to order the bow disciples beer pong target face for when we have cook outs it’s something we can all have fun doing.

I do the same thing with cardboard. Can't beat the price.

I like the idea, will have to do it with some old scrap plywood.

What a great idea! I might try to do this with layered foam and cut it with a hot wire for small game silhouettes.

I've done this very thing with my daughters projector. Both elk and bear.
She helped paint them and cut out the vitals with me.
