All,
A little while ago, I was looking for a cheek riser, but couldn't find anything that suited my particular taste. So, I got out my leather awl, made a rough template out of cardboard, and started cutting and sewing. 1st one I made for my Swede, but liked it better on my Uberti Henry. Of course my guns refused to share, so I had to make up another one. Took about 4-6 hour each start to finish. Most of the time was spent in making the pattern, and cutting out the leather. Let me know what you think.
