Since i sold my kifaru frame and always like my diy bag i ordered some 1.5 cordura webbing from Hudson supplies,i made some sleeves and sewed 1 sleeve on each side of the bag to create support channel.I bought 2 aluminum flat bar and bent them by hands for the stays(24")I'am still impress how well this is comfy.

Looks great brother!!!!

For anybody interested in buying something from Steve.....I’d gladly buy anything he sells sight unseen. His work is solid and I’d trust anything he builds without hesitation.

DIY stuffs, bug net paratarp, field chair, tipi.

Bug net for my kifaru paratarp,of course it will not be pitched like my pictures,i was in a hurry for taking the photos because i was freezing at -20Celcius(Quebec,Canada).We have fly and mosquitos around May and i hate those little vampires so i decided to made this half net for the paratarp.
What you guys think?I am not sure if i will leave it like this of make the other half?I think its good like this,i can still use a stove and for hot summer nights it will give me some fresh air\ventilation and a nice view on the river :) I ordered some Tan 1000D cordura for a field chair projet and used the paratarp poles as chair legs.

Okay I was just talking to my wife last night about adding a bug net to my paratarp. Mosquitos have been way worse than normal the last 2 years with all the precipitation we’ve gotten. Cool idea. Do you sell these OP or should I stick to having my wife sew one up?
