DIY bow maintenance?

That's great for the shops, but when they keep f*****g up that's not so great for the consumer. If I want to keep shooting Hoyt I have to travel over 2 hours to get warranty work done.

I hear you. I own 2 hoyts (2012, 2013) myself and have had to replace the cam bearings on both of the in the last year and a half. In my cases, one was super fast but one took about 6 weeks to.get done. Hoyt sent the wrong parts twice, and then couldn't find that parts had been ordered at all.....it's all good now. But Hoyt ain't perfect either.

The good news is hoyts are really easy to setup and tune yourself, and fun to work on because adjustments are intuitive and noticeable. And for warranty work, there seems to be some but not a ton. When you have a lot of moving parts under high stress and heavy loads that's just part of the game.
