DIY backpack rain cover

Bought myself a sewing machine and did a rain cover for my Mystery Ranch pop-up 38 pack

What material did you settle on? Curious how you thought about weight vs "waterproof-ness"...

I used 1.6 silpoly. It is super lightweight I doubled up the shock cord channels. We will see how it holds up.
