I decided that I wanted to cut down on the weight of my sleep system so I designed this tent and ordered all of the materials online and then went on and made it. We'll see how it holds up this season.

How light is it, how much room and how much weight did you save? Looks pretty tiny from the photos.

It weighs about 1.2 pounds with the tent, cord, stakes, and carrying bag.
The floor is 88 inches long, the width of the end is 22 inches, the width of the top is 32 inches, and the highest point is about 20 inches.

My sleeping pad wouldn't even fit in that. Good on you for doing one up DIY but I would be claustrophobic in that. I've got an MLD Patrol tarp that's 13.5oz, but waaaaay more expensive than your setup. Let us know how that works out for ya this year

It’s made out of nylon ripstop. I had designed it to be a little bigger but it still works great.
