Not sure if this topic should be in Firearms or Optics...

Looking for an alternative to the Hawkins Precision Long Range Hybrid Rings. A buddy of mine is looking for something that checks the following boxes:
- 34mm tube
- Direct mount to receiver (no rail)
- Something QUALITY that doesn't need to be lapped
- Built-in MOA (15, 20, 25, doesn't matter)
- An integral level would be nice but not necessary

Let me know if you're aware of anything like this. Thanks All!

You might look at the Talley Lightweight one-piece mounts. I don't know if they will have one that fits your gun but I've used them for years without any issues.

Talleys Lightweights are extruded aluminum and fail at a higher rate of rings than any other I’ve personally seen. I used them for many years and finally pulled my last set from my Fieldcraft this year.

Many have good luck with them, but I think the risk of a failure is higher than an alternate made from machined aluminum.

But if they’re comfortable with that then Talley does make Lightweight direct mount options in 34mm. I’d see if you could find a stronger alternative first though.

What'd you put on the fieldcraft? A rail?
