Dimentia and hunting

[FLATHEAD]

When my Mom started getting bad we moved her in with us in to
a garage apartment.
Was sitting in my recliner once and looked out the back window and
there goes Mom headed to the woods.
Another time the neighbor brought her home.
Wife found her naked in the back yard once.
She cant even stand up now, much less walk.
She cant do anything actually, rarely even talks.
Cant eat solid foods, lives on Ensure.
Horrible, Tortuous disease on all involved.
Stay Strong.

I would agree with having a single gun between you and him and holding it until it's time to shoot. I would imagine it is simply a reversal of rolls from when you were first joining him in the woods.

This above. With his present condition, which will only get worse, it should be about spending quality time together and not so much about killing an animal.

I went through this with my mom. Some tough times ahead so get that quality time while he still knows who you are. Blessings sent.
