Hi, has anyone experienced their threads on the suppressor to be absolutely horrendous? Both the direct thread mounts to the gun and the hub adapter mounts are unsatisfactory.

The original direct thread mount would not thread onto barrels without force and it would make the gun threads super dirty and wouldn’t let other stuff go on without cleaning. I took their mount off the suppressor and put on another one but threading the new mount into the can is also horrendous and takes a lot of force. I have tried cleaning both mounts and nothing changes. As in a lot of force I mean straining with a wrench.

Has anyone experienced this?

I have 4x Dilligent ti cans, sti lti Wolfhunter and 338 DTF. All using area419 hellfire/hub adapter. Had no issues installing the A419 mount to the back end of the DD can. I use a recoilX braked muzzle cap on the end of a few these DD cans as well, they use same thread size/pitch as a Nomad, no problems there either.

Contact Dilligent, from all accounts I've seen, they are more than willing to make things right if there is a problem.

Okay thank you. I sent them an email. I was thinking that it shouldn’t be this hard. I’ll hold off on mounting it for now.

Factory threaded barrel, or did you have it done by someone? Have you tried threading another type of brake or suppressor on it?

Is it a new can? I also have a brand new dd can, threads were also problematic. I sent them an email thru the contact form on their website a week ago thursday and never heard back. I got the can on and threads are cleaner now, but it took some doing and did not leave a particularly good taste for the level of service I might expect in the future.
My barrel accepted several other 5/8 24 items (brake etc) easily so I dont think it was the barrel.

I did not have issues with the threads, my LTi had a “ting” to it on multiple rifles. I found an email address on Facebook/Instagram and emailed them on it. Within minutes they responded, every single time! I ended up having to send it back to them, it’s fixed now, but i had nothing but GREAT customer service from them!!

Great thanks I’ll get ahold of them that way.

Factory barrel, I tried it on multiple rifles, other cans go on just fine, both the direct thread and hub mounts for it are abysmal.

Yeah I can muscle it on but it is very difficult to do..

Sounds like some tooling was wearing down that was machining the threads and wasn't caught in time to adjust the diameter offset, ended up cutting some undersized threads on the ID, and oversized threads on the OD.

I've got the STI as well as their direct thread adapters on two rifles and didn't run into any threading issues with the adapter threading onto the rifle, or the can threading onto the adapter. Hopefully their customer service can get you squared away and figure out whats going on.

I've got an LTi with both 1/2 and 5/8 adaptors, they both spin on perfectly smoothly. I'll echo that their customer service is fast and direct, I would definitely reach out to them.

We’ve sold a lot of their suppressors annd direct thread adapters and haven’t had this issue ever reported to us. That said, no manufacturer is perfect.

I’d reach out to them and I’m sure they’ll take care of you as they have a reputation for excellent customer service.
