I've been wanting to get into the digiscoping game for a few years. I have a Vortex Viper 15-45x65 and an iPhone 6.. I also have a go pro.. I would assume the iPhone beats the GoPro for quality.. I'm looking at picking up the phone skope setup.. I'm looking for advice, do's/dont's, to avoid spending more $ down the road.. anybody got any advice?

GoPros actually take WAY higher quality stills and video. The problem is because they do not have any zoom is you get a ton of vignetting. For ease of use the phone is the way to go, someone on here just did a really good tutorial of a DIY digiscoping adapter for their phone so they could leave the case on.

The Carson Universal Smart Phone Optics Digiscoping Adapter For Binoculars ,Spotting Scopes works very well . It works with most phones all you do is adjust it to your phone and clip it to your Spotter.
