Did I ruin this scope install?

I just replaced my Leupold vx5 with a nightforce. I degreased every screw, scope, and rings. I added witness marks to all screws with a paint pen. But then I stupidly decided to add a witness mark where the scope and scope ring meets to make sure the scope isn’t sliding in the rings. When I touched where the two meet a little bit of the paint bled under the scope ring. Should I be worried about this compromising my setup now?

It's a non issue.

Dosnt sound like a problem. Its not like you are trying to free float your scope. Maybe worry that there was room for it to bleed under, but not that it did.

Yep, the paint will run until it hits a point where the ring is actually in contact with the scope tube.

I add blue loctite to the inside of my rings…

You are overthinking it. Don’t sweat it. If it bled into it, it’s because there was a gap that it filled, lol.
