I know it's not really the Rokslide flavor but besides hunting, and sometimes more so, competitive shooting is my jam, mostly highpower rifle. I've always been intrigued with Palma (Fullbore) and just got this picture from Gary Eliseo at Competition Machine.

Build Sheet
Donor Rifle: Tikka T3X .223 from Eurooptic.
Barrel: Krieger 1-7 finished at 30", standard .223 (rules) throated for 90s.
Trigger: Tuned Factory
Stock: CMI Tikka Competition Chassis finished in H-240 (Mil-Spec OD Green)
Optics: About that, it's irons only but I do have a .5x lens in my front sight.

I went with .223 over .308 because I already load a decent bit for Service Rifle even though there's plenty more attention to detail required for good scores.

Thought the point of the trainer was to make a clone of your "main" hunting rifle

Dang, now you'll have to build another rifle! Haha see I'm just enabling you!
This rifle has a trainer with about 50k rounds on it. Spent my life savings on it at 15 and shot it through college. Not an exact match but close enough. This was from my first conventional prone match in 12 years a few weeks ago.
