Diamondback vs furry range bino glass.

I looked through the vortex website but couldn’t find my answer. I’d like to know if anyone feels strongly that the Diamondback quality is comparable to the furry quality. Maybe they’re comparable to the vipers? I like the range finder binos and like the price. Just not sure of the quality of glass I’d be getting. The closest store is almost 2 hours and they won’t tell me about inventory over the phone.

I have owned the Viper HDs and Fury’s. I sold the viper HDs and Vortex 1800 RF to buy the Furys before last hunting season. Immediately after hunting season I sold the Furys because IMO they were not as clear as my older Viper HDs and I wasn’t happy. I have since bought the Geovid HD-B 3000 and couldn’t be happier but obviously they are significantly more coin. End lesson, buy once, cry once.

I believe the Fury's are on par with the Viper in terms of glass quality. For whatever it's worth, when I looked through the Fury's, they had a noticeable blue tint that was not for me. I've heard that some guys don't notice it or aren't bothered by it, but it's worth it to look through them yourself. Maybe it was just a bad sample, but my eyes couldn't look through them for any duration.
I was thinking if the fury’s were even just a little better than the diamondbacks they’d be worth the money. But the blue tint would be a problem. I’m gonna see if I can find anyone else mention the blue tint. Thanks for ur input.

The Vortex rep told me when the Fury’s first came out their glass was just a little behind the viper and better than the Diamondbacks. I bumped into him at the local store. Now with the new HD’s being out I am not sure. But I’m going to bet the glass is still similar between the viper’s and fury’s.

I’d email Vortex customer service, they have always been very responsive when I have asked them questions. Most recently a few days ago about the turret design in the new Razor LHT.

I found a lot of people complaining about the blue tint. Some complaining about it being green. Gonna go another route. Thanks again.
