DG720 hunt

i was fortunate enough to draw a DG720 tag this year and am thinking about going out early to mid September. im looking to hear from people who have drawn this tag in the past and get there thoughts on doing a walk-in style hunt in the southern part of the unit

Not sure how many folks hav dg720 information memorized. Maybe details on what the hunt area is to help refresh us?

My apologies i guess i assumed people who have hunted that tag before would know what i was referring too, It’s a mountain goat hunt in unit 13D in Alaska

There is a lot of information about this hunt out there. There aren't really big herds of them like Kodiak. Call Meekins or Blue Ice Aviation. The West Part of the Unit will have goats that are less "jumpy". Meekins is the easy button. Nick Muche has gotten this tag 3 times and has been successful on this tag. The first week in September is seen as the best time to do this hunt. Good Luck.
