Dewalt 20v Chainsaw

Thanks for posting this! Been looking at a truck saw for just in case (clear a small downed tree over a road or something) but was on the fence. For $90 and same day home delivery, I'm not arguing.

Got one today. Already have the bigger Stihl, but have always been impressed with my Buddies Dewalt. Already have batteries and happy to have a lighter total package saw for trail work.

Rokslide “saving” me money yet again. Need to keep an eye out for Black Friday sales on more batteries. Converted the kids power wheels to a dewalt 20v and it eats them up.

I just scored at my local Home Depot. Internet said they had 16 in stock. All but one were in the rafters. The one had box damage and was taped up. The guy said it would be 30 min to get a different one down or take this one to the pro desk and tell them he said ask for a damaged box discount. The gal told me $20 off and I agreed. Them she rang it up and gave me $50 off. I said that's more than we discussed. She said, yeah I took some more off for you. $43 after tax. Woohoo!

I picked mine up today. Mil/leo discount was nice as well.

I've had one since spring and it's great. I did the oil leak mod and that helped. You will know almost instantly when the battery is getting low by how quickly it slows down during a cut. The toolless chain adjustment and bar cover removal is great. My only critique is that wood chips and smaller brushy stuff clogs up the area under the cover way quicker than any gas saw I've used. PS - I have and recommend the pole saw too.

This is the only critique I have for any battery powered saw I have used.
