"LOUD"? 141db is not LOUD for a 5.5oz, 5" can lol. It's one of the shortest and lightest cans on the market, with much better recoil reduction of any can in its class, size wise.
Assuming you are referring to the Limited 6.5? To be fair, it tested significantly louder than the Airlock, which is shorter for what it’s worth. It also tested notably louder than the Nomad Ti, Scythe Ti.

I don’t mean to be harsh, nor have I even used a Tenet, but when the company (Tenet) is pimping “7 patents” and “5 years” of development in marketing and podcasts, you’re gonna be held to extremely high expectations. I guess I just expected more when I heard that.

That’s fair. I believe it has its place, in my opinion. It’s 4db louder than arguably the quietest small can ever made, and I would say it’s probably “in second place” for db if you’re comparing it to all the K cans out there, as long as you’re staying in the lightweight, short category. But it definitely takes the crown for recoil reduction, based off the results posted.

I can shoot my 18” 6 creed with my magnus k on it without earpro (I don’t love it but it’s not destroying my ears), that will be quieter than my Magnus k, way lighter, shorter, and way more recoil reduction, I’d call that a win.

K cans have always been miserable to shoot until the airlocks came out, but there is zero modularity and not great recoil reduction, whereas this one looks to be better. I do think this can will have a place.

It was cool to see in the slowmo video of the muzzle, just how much less jump and vibration the muzzle end had, and you can clearly see how much slower the gas is being released from the can.

Light, great recoil, and by far the QUIETEST, the tenet maxin line is just that. It's not short tho.

It's kinda like that whole cheap, fast, reliable situation, pick two, cuz you can't get all 3. There's always gonna be a tradeoff somewhere.

I'll very likely own a tenet limited 30 with both brake options once these come to market. If offers me the best balance, 142db at muzzle may still be hearing safe at the shooters ear position. A few rounds of that from a hunting rifle I can live with. If I'm ever shooting a match, I'm always wearing ear pro regardless how quiet my can is.

An 18” 6 Creed with a Magnus K is most definitely destroying your ears w/out ear pro, I’d advise that don’t do that.
