Hello, been lurking for a while and wanted to jump in for some solid advice. I have been hunting and fishing all my life, mainly on the east coast. Had a great trip to the Copper river for bear back in the day. Most of my experience has been north woods whitetails. That said, as a 20th anniversary present, my wife said she would rather that I go on an Elk hunt then try to plan a giant party. Don't have to ask me twice! Almost all of my hunting has been 100yrds or less and my gear reflects that fact. That said, I am going to try and make sure I am not repetitive as there is a ton of content here!
