Looking for a 125 grain deep six broadhead, and was wondering if anyone had experience with both of these. My primary concern is flight characteristics. Any others I should be considering? Would have liked to run Slick Trick Magnum, but they only come in 100grain.

Good question. I’ve shot both extensively and tested both for durability and taken animals with both.

Both of them fly well, but the IW is more forgiving at very long ranges and in a cross wind. I can readily pop balloons at 100 yards, you can see the vids I’ve made doing that.

For durability, there is no comparison. In one of my YouTube vids (Lusk Archery Adventures) I shoot them both into cinder block. The IW actually stuck in the Cinder block with no significant damage; it was re usable. The Legend exploded...I mean really fractured into a bunch of little pieces. The super vented design is not very structurally sound. And the SV30 Steel is prime to chipping and edge chatter. The IW uses A2 steel, which is one of the most impact resistant steels ever used in a Broadhead.

I got the Legends for elk hunting but after my testing, I only use them for Whitetail and hogs. I’m not gambling my valuable elk hunt on them.

The IW winds hands down.
