Dedicated NRL Hunter Forum?

I like it. Its my first real chassis bolt action other then a ruger 22 precision but ive got it fit to me pretty well. Im not a huge fan of the cheek riser or the recoil pad but tbh they are minor complaints and dont affect how I use it. For the price-weight- features balance I like it. I bought a folding stock to slap a different barreled action into when hunting season rolls around. So it will become dual use for me.

I've seen the feedback about the cheek riser. I'm considering the SR but with the XLR cheek riser

shot one match with the Mk4hd 6-24 PR3

I have only shot three matches first was with a 7 saw close to 15lbs with a xtr3 3.3-18x50.
Second was with a Maven CRS.3 4-20
Now my eyes have a hard time with floating center dots it seems. I wear glasses to shoot all the time. I need more time with these Pr3's. Is there any other scopes you would recommend that dont have a floating dot ?

The 2026 rules were posted today.... some highlights and thoughts:

-Factory is 13 lb limit now - may open up some guns such as the new tikka gamer guns??

-10 oz allotment given if shooting suppressed for light and factory - I like this. Though they did specify that your suppressor has to be unmodified from the original manufacture configuration so this does hurt the Recoil X crowd. Can't use the bonus 10 oz if you use any of the aftermarket brakes on the end. Does good for the TBAC RR, SAW Orev, new Abel can, clovis, etc. users.

- Targets can now be L to R, R to L, N to F, or F to N now. This will surely make things more challenging. Have to really take notes on the target order.

We already had targets in these configurations I guess other matches did not ?

Wishing they would of bumped pf down a touch. I have a few custom 25 Creeds that wont make pf with factory ammo.

Helps out new seekins with an additional 1/2 lb over ph2 as well

Like the can allowance. Dislike the disqual for recoil x use. Guess i can spend another $grand to game it better.. But really, 13# 10 ounce 6 creed in factory is getting a bit out there. Guess @Unknown Suppressors better get that NHS can on the market pronto now that there is gamer rules supporting it more.

Cool. Guaranteed to mess lots of people up.

Also I think the 10 oz suppressor allotment is only for Open light. So you could potentially have a 12 lbs 10 oz rifle. Open heavy is still 16 lbs total regardless

We were just discussing the NHS launch and this for sure has made it more important. The printed in brake is ideal. Gamer can lol.
