Last year I built and filed paper work for a super short 300 blackout SBR. Built on a shield arms folding lower. It's purpose built for a Vertx backpack. A discrete active shooter response kit for church or whatever. Ok let's be real. It's because it's a cool gun lol.

Right now it has a 7.5" barrel. I can fit the whole gun in the bag really well. I can also sit a Silencer Co omega 9k on it but it's tight.

Plan is to go to a 4.75" pipe and a dedicated can. I thought about getting an Unknown Reaper.

Just want to explore other options before making a big investment. And was wondering about blow back with this can. I've shot this gun a lot with subs and my Ultra 7 and with subs gas wasn't a factor.

I don't really "need" another 30 cal can for my bolt actions.

Can needs to be about 6" to fit in the bag.

I just bought a bunch of Black Hills 125 grain TMKs for the carry ammo.

Thanks fam

I shot my Reaper on a 10.5” Blackout for a couple range sessions. Disclaimer I only shot subs though.

I was extremely pleased with the performance. It was gassy but not horrible. This specific gun runs well with both subs and supers supressed and unsupressed. I am not sure if that made it seem less gassy than it truly was.

The Polonium 30 this gun now wears IMHO has significantly more first round pop and gas.

Yeah might just still go with the reaper to support a Rokslide friendly company.
Looked to see what Silencer Shop had available and there's almost too many. A lot are steel and or welded cans that are heavy.
Just need something that'll handle that tiny barrel.
