Does anyone have experience with these? I have the regular ones and they seem to work well but would like to try the sound filtering ones for at the range. I would like to know if you can still have a conversation with them in and if they would still work well enough for a rifle with a brake?

I have used them a bunch for waterfowl and rifle.

You can definitely have a conversation at low volume with them.

I have never used them with a brake. For one or two shots at an animal you'll probably be ok. Shooting at the range, I think you would want to double up with ear muffs.

Thats kind of what I was thinking but I hate having muffs on. Especially in winter.
