What do you mean not go this far this year? I’m going with friends to make it a boys trip hunting. One of the guys going is his first time going. Whether we harvest or not, being with friend in the woods at a cabin sounds like a slice of heaven to me.
Appreciate the insight on what you use. That seems like over kill for what I am planning.

Go that far in overkill for being warm. I was just letting you know in case you really freeze and want something stupid warm the next year. Everyone is different.

I have a couple friends who can't handle any sort of cold at all. I thought of them and figured I'd share my favorite it's stupid cold treestand solution.

Have fun! I'm actually hunting the south in October this year and have been buying the lightest stuff made so I am not miserable when it's like 80 degrees outside.

Yeah I get cold but I can manage with the right stuff and layering. That is one thing I have learned is layering is key.
Yeah the south in October can be brutally hot in some places. I know in South Florida, it’s still stupid hot, humid and lots of mosquitoes.
