December $487 prefit group buy, several barrels are a go

@hereinaz can you shot me a DM? Planning to order a 6mm ARC barreled action from you today but have a magazine question for you before I do. Apparently FNGs can't initiate a DM...
You only need one more post to have met the minimum post count to get full site access. You have already met the length of time as a member just need to have 10 or more posts to get full access.

Since this closes in two days is it safe to assume that no more chamberings will be added to the sale at this point?

You can order anything you’d like as a one off in the website. It’s just a bit more expensive than the group buy

Not unless enough buy in. Order goes in by Monday. I already have the barrels in my cart, now I just need to get the numbers and submit.

I will open up another group buy in March/April, but not at this price. Price will go up by at least $25 bucks for following preorders, but that price is still a smoking deal.

Or guys seeing much difference in lapped vs unlapped barrels?
In cleaning and marginal precision differences that can only be teased out with lots of shooting. The difference could easily be invisible to most shooters. A good unlapped could shoot better than a decent lapped barrel, and both shoot 10 inside 1.25”

After break in, the difference diminishes more.

And I'm sure I'll have justification to get a 20 prc at that point LOL!

This triggered a question re: Break in - (can also be another thread if not appropriate) - I was watching the Panhandle Precision (former writer for RS) Youtube channel the other day and he talked through his barrel break-in process.

Is this process still proven to make a significant difference?
