Dead Air RXD30Ti

I shot the my rxd30ti this weekend and was very impressed with the performance with my 300wm. It seems to prefer to be under 3000fps, I have no data to quantify that other than the info on the ammo boxes. I shot 200gr terminal ascent which made it as quite if not quiter that an unsuppressed 22. We shot a 22 later and a group consensus thought it was quieter. I also shot 150g federal powershock and the report was pretty snappy vs the 200gr. It is significantly quieter than my encticer sti that I initially had on the rifle when I sighted it in. Changing the suppressor did move the impact about 5" down and 5" right. For me it was money well spent and would suggest it to others.
Great feedback, I will be using the 200gr TA rounds as well. Did you feel that the e-brake made much of a difference?

Were you able to compare it to anything else?
Not at this time, my buddy has a hyperion but we haven't been able to get together and shoot them back to back.

I didn't shoot them back to back, but the recoil definitely manageable to me with rdx.

Just some more feedback...

I feel the RDX30Ti suppression levels fall about halfway between my Ultra 7/Dominus and my OCL Hydrogen L, and is roughly equal to my Nomad TiXC. This is on a 20" 6.5x47 and 16" 308. Once I removed the steel direct thread adapter and installed a Titanium ECCO HUB-to-TBAC CB adapter, the weight of the RDX30 fell right inline with my Ultra 7 (gen 1) and Dominus, so it is fairly lightweight and comes in at 7 1/4" to the tip of the flash hider endcap.

The built-in brake does help mitigate recoil compared to the others, but I don't think it works quite as well as the TiXC with the Recoil X gen 1 installed. Its recoil character is similar to my R30 but without the ability to fine tune it or to close the ports off completely. I shot a few rounds with the Recoil X on the RDX30 for kicks but did not notice a difference and did not like the added length.

IMHO, the RDX30 is a great do-it-all/workhorse bolt gun can. It is lighter and quieter than my R30, about the same weight but a little quieter than my Ultra 7, and very slightly heavier and longer than my TiXC with roughly equal suppression levels. I have not and do not plan to shoot it on my AR, so I cannot speak to it's backpressure.

Great feedback! I just got word that the Form 4 was approved this morning. I'm planning on getting out this weekend and trying it out on my 300 WM and a 308.
