Well. Without being able to look into them much and going off a couple buddies saying they work fine, I made an immediate purchase decision due to a local FFL having one of these cans available at half price ($400 when regularly $800).

Does anyone have any personal experience with one of these being used on a 30 cal or smaller diameter bolt action rifle?

If it ends up not being fantastic I can throw it on a rifle or gas gun that doesn’t see as much use as some of the others.

Appreciate any insight.

I have had one for a couple of years now. It is used on my 300 WM (21”), my 260 REM (20”), and my 6.5 Creed (19”).
It suppresses very well. Not as light as some, but still pretty good for a non-Ti can.
Overall, I am very happy with mine.

DA Nomad-30 was my first can. Ran it on my 16” Tikka 6.5CM and I loved it. Thought it had a great deep tone and was quiet enough, especially in hunting circumstances for a shot or two.

Also ran it on my 16” 5.56 AR15 and shot without ears at a couple shorter range days. Didn’t have anything to compare it to at the time.

All the other suppressors I’m around are on gas guns as well so I have nothing to compare it to though.

That all being said, I would absolutely buy another at $400.

How well does it cut the recoil on your 300WM?

Pretty well. I have never shot it with a brake, but I did have to shoot that rifle without the can when hunting in Canada. I could definitely tell the difference.

If I had to equate it to something, it is like shooting my short 308 Encore with 150 grain bullets.
