DCF tape

Is there a trick to peeling the backing off of DCF tape, the couple times I’ve used it it’s been a total pain in the ass to get any tape pulled from the backing, literally 30+ minutes of screwing with it for any headway

My next move is to buy some more and see if I got a difficult batch

You have to slice into it with something super sharp and then try to get a little wrinkle in it to peel it back. It's pretty difficult and you have to sacrifice a half an inch.
