I know what they say, and I'll be glad for someone to chime in and correct me, but everything I have seen indicates that they are incorrectly adding the sawtooth to the list. There are no straps in position to accommodate the lid. Look at pictures of the Metcalf and beartooth and note how the lid attaches, then compare to the sawtooth. It's a newer sawtooth on the mt frame and they say you can
I guess what was throwing me off was that I got the pack (not the lid) second hand and the previous owner had installed male buckles on the loops at the top frame side of the pack. And there were none anywhere else. Super simple once you stated that little tidbitSnap!
To finally have a place for lunch that won't get crushed. That is the only downfall to my cabinet. Now, the does seem to be less room on the belt than the old GL frameGlad I could help. A lid really expands that packs capacity.
Yeah, we shall see. I really like the pack, however I cannot necessarily see myself getting rid of the cabinet. It's much easier to access the shelf/ utilize it for things like my trekking polls than with the new mt frame.I don’t use my sawtooth much. I thought I’d really like it due to the organization it offers, but I just ended up using my crew cab because its just a much more simple pack.
