Day Six HD

I’ve been using them for about 4 years and have been very happy with their performance. Components are solid and it’s a very durable setup that’s worked well for me.

I’ve used them in the past, very durable, no real performance reason for moving away.

Great shafts, very durable and consistent. I have a bunch of 350 components and about a dozen shafts I am looking to sell if u are interested. Just got too heavy for my set up.

Like others said great durability. Cons are micro components, and weight. I left when Snyder did. I should support them since they are a Wyoming company. You may want to wait for their 5mm to come out.

I've been happy with them. They are more accurate than I can shoot and I've botched some shots that would have wrecked other shafts. I did have one Insert-Outsert get broken when I hit the edge of a 3D target and then a 2x4 that was behind it. Kind of an odd situation but that's the only time I've lost and arrow. I am torn on buying another dozen but the $200/dozen I paid in 2021 was on the edge of my financial comfort and at $240/dozen now they are decidedly over that point. Hard decision but in the end $40 is chump change compared to the cost of gas to go hunting right?

Their 5mm is out already . I've already been shooting 5mm and Brian's thick wall leads me to believe it's going to be a better system then a lighter gpi 5mm . Regardless if I go 5mm or 4mm I'll be within 10 grains , and same foc effectively

At my draw length durability is about the same between 5mm and 4mm . Wall thickness plays a bigger part in durability for my set ups typically.

I wish the 5mm’s were 204 inside and not 203. I’m guessing a hit won’t fit. I’m sure the day six complements are fine but it would be nice to have more options

The new system from day six is similar to the system I've been using and I'll say it's a stout design you won't have any issues with it forsure .

When I got my RIP TKO 250's, brass HIT's wouldn't fit in them. I measured the ID right at .2025". So I screwed a field point on the HIT's and put the point in the drill chuck, and the drill in my vise. Then ran it while holding a strip of 600 grit silicon carbide paper over the HIT for just a second on each of them. That was enough to get them all to fit well. That was 3 years ago now, and haven't had a problem with any of them.

Patience my friend; patience……
