Darton Sequel st2?

For reference I shoot a bowtech revolt x now

If I remembery Reckoning correctly it was easy in the front and bumpy in the back.

It seemed easy and hump free for me at 30.5". I don't know how to speak about easy/stuff up front. All I really care about is the back end and if it dumps uncontrollably or I could not let down.

I ordered a LiftX yesterday and will probably get a Sequel, they are that smooth for me on the back end.

Ya the back end is important, as I don't like a hump and dump. I also don't like it if the bow want's to rip out of my hand if I relax a bit. I know that no creep is important for good form, but hunting I wan't just a touch of creep.

I think they come with two different mods as well. What were you thinking of ordering, and from where?

Ya I am not in a rush to order it, so it wouldn't matter much if it wasn't in stock. I was waiting for the bowtech release this year to compare. I do like the SS34 from 2023 and was hoping they would release something similar. They did, but then it's like is it really worth $600 for a new one when an old SS34 can be had for like $800? The only difference is the timing/grip adjustments and the centermass sight thing-which I wouldn't use anyway as I have a sight i like. I like a lot about the Darton 35. I'm still wondering about Prime's offerings this year. Prime has not been a brand I have shot, but I'm curious about their center grip technology if they have something that spec wise looks good.

@billysmals isn't that Bowtech more expensive than the Darton? With a used ss34, I'd be slightly weary of the cable shredding issue, but other than that, and after Bowtech fixed it, that model is going to be timeless.

Ya the Bowtech Proven is more expensive. I have thought about the shredding issue, but I'm not as familiar with it. Is it bow to bow? I have no idea. The Darton is still leading the pack for me, it's cheaper from the new bows and ships to my door.

I'll try to find a place to shoot the new Darton bows because I think their timing adjustment is a genius application of KISS. I don't need it, but I'll at least add it to my "want to shoot" list.
Currently:
1. Mathews Lift X 29.5 & 33,
2. PSE Mach 30 & 33
3. Darton Sequel st2 31 & 33

It seemed to be few bows randomly. I think the shop I go to had one and Bowtech overnighted new cams.

When you shoot them all, give a quick write up. I'm really curious your thoughts.
Between the LIft X 33 and Darton 35/31 (haven't gotten in a 33) they all seemed interchangeable to me on the draw and shoot at 5yds. Same with the Artus that Elite sent me out and the RX8 we had last year. There's nothing in those bows that would be a deal breaker, and nothing that made them seem like they weren't the draw weight they were.

I do have permission to write a home page review here of the Darton if I want to pick one up. From my perspective, the tuning features seem really simple and functional, 7075 aluminum catches my attention, natural strings seem to be something an archer suggested, and I like the scholarship idea.
