I use the Darn Tough Cushion model for my muzzleloader Deer/Elk hunts at the end of Sept. in Utah with a light weight compression sock as a liner.

Have the litest footies for loafers and the thick kneehighs for muck boots. All good, have yet to send any back for replacement

I wear the same medium sock in snow and desert...handles a wide range of temps. FYI...I was always moving, not sitting.

I wear the over-the-calf hunting socks year round. They are WAY better than regular socks in any temperature!
