Nice deal, but I have not had good luck with pronghorns. To be fair it was an earlier generation, but worst pair of boots I have owned. Id honestly take my USMC issue combat boots over them.

The new deals come at 1am EST, 10pm Pacific... the west coasters often clear out the best deals the night before. When I looked at 8am-ish there were only like 2 sizes left & I'd assume they were sold out right after.

This deal came just in time for us, I was looking for fall/winter hunting boots for my boys, they are still building interest in the game. Hope these boots hold up for a season or 2. We have a busy schedule this year.

Just got off the phone with Camofire. Pronghorn price was a typo. Actual price is closer to $200.

We used to all wear Pronghorns 5-6 years ago. Then the quality of them went to poop.. a few years back a friend who works for them here in OR gave me a 50% coupon to any Danner boot so I bought another pair. I don't wear them too much as I like my Crispi's better, but so far they have been better than my last pair of Prognhorns. They at least don't leak right from the start like all the others did.

I too got a confirmation email and receipt. I must have gotten on right when they started it as there were only a couple of sizes that were out and the others showed either at 1/2 to full on the inventory. To those that mentioned they didn't like earlier Pronghorns, I agree. I'm hoping these all leather ones are a different story.

Shipped. I bought a pair of these size 9, just a little tight. I hope these work out better, got them in 9.5.

Worst boot I have ever owned. But, in their defense, my feet were way too wide for them.
