Dalton Highway Rifle Hunt

We are planning to do a rifle Caribou hunt off the Dalton hwy in 2026. I have heard there is a lot of competition hunting. Is that also true after hiking 5-7 miles off the Hwy?

there is a few out there and pending on where you decide to walk out will determine crowd size, along with the time you decide to do this trip. Good part is, it is very open, so it isn't hard to see the others
