Congratulations........Nice Ram. Beautiful photos. Back more then 50 plus years ago we would do immersion hunts in that country for six weeks. Just two residents, passionate about exploring and hunting new country. We watched massive wolf packs that if today I mentioned the number of wolves......everyone would scream "Bull'shit". There is a unique "peacefulness" about being in that part of the earth.

Congratulations! Great ram...soooo jealous! :)

Sidebar question: How was the Kuiu tent? I have been shopping for one but they are still out of stock. No hurry as I don't need it this year (sadly)

Thank you! I have several tents and chose to use the 2P tent. I also had a zero degree bag (little over kill), but the combo had me toasty warm. I slept in my boxers with an unzipped bag, during below freezing temps, and was very warm. I was glad I didn’t take the 3P. I think the 2P is perfect for one person and gear, and super warm. So many good options out there. Hilleberg would probably be my 1st choice. We were lucky and the storms were somewhat mild with winds once around 30 (or so) at its worse, in 50mph winds I think the Kuiu tent might not of done so well.

Thank you! I do love that country. Well with the exception of the tundra. The tundra there is growing way up on the mountains. You really only get out of it when you get really close to the sheep. Of course, a mile over the terrain varies so much. We also saw quite a few wolves but no shot opportunities.
