Finished up my hunt last week. What do you think on these different rams? Some of the video is better/closer than others, sorry. I ended up passing on all these rams, giving my guide no small amount of anxiety. 8 days in the mountains was as much fun as I was hoping it would be!

It’s such a personal thing. Your history, experience, opportunities to come, and location all play a role.
No “crankers” but there is at least one in there I would definitely take in most areas of AK. But probably not in the Yukon or NWT.
Again, personal.
iDK why a guide would be anxious. Those seem like classic “it’s up to you” type rams.

Thanks for sharing the footage!

Thanks for sharing! Nice videos there. Like others said, maybe it depends a little where you are hunting and what your goals are but if you were hunting Alaska I think most of those were legal and regardless of where they are I think any legal ram is “trophy” quality. That last one for sure is easily beyond full curl and worthy of a tag. Sounds like you enjoyed your hunt, and that’s most important. No shame in leaving mature rams on the mountain.

As others have said, it all depends on one's objectives to sheep hunt. Thank you for sharing the video - you had the opportunity to get eyes on a good number of rams.

I guess it wasn’t clear, but I did tag out. What I thought was the best ram, of course it’s the one that I didn’t get video of. I’ll put it in the meat pole thread.
