D2 steel at walmart

As mentioned, these are very similar to a Benchmade Bugout. I have two of those and prefer American made stuff, but for $10 these are nice to have handy.

The mechanics of this knife punch way above its price. I wish it was smaller like the BM pictured above but that's my only kind of gripe.

I would roll those dice for $10
I’m a big spyderco knife guy, but bought a few Benchmade knockoffs and a spyderco delica & stretch ripoff in 440c steel and am super impressed with them
YMMV but mine blow any 8crMov steel out of the water, on edge carrying ability
Last week it was 17*f and well below 0 wind chill
So I whipped out the Ganzo / 440c stretch and cleaned two deer
Only problem is the stupid axis lock froze up solid and became a fixed blade ( and this knife has a axis lock)
After , cleaning and skinning two deer , its still razor sharp ( much to my surprise)
These knockoffs will now be riding as beaters in my truck and one in my winter bug out bag over my $150 spyderco

Score on goal
Ass hats been buying them as fast as they come in stock and double the price on eBay but I finally got one at Walmart
So now have Chinese bug out killer ( sorry Benchmade;( )
It’s smaller than I expected it to be though , but came pretty sharp

They had 5 orange at the wally world I stopped at today.

Well 6 if you count the one the kid put under his counter so he could buy it on payday.🤣

I'm waiting for a green to show up before I buy another one.

Lots of really nice China knives out there that a beautifully made with great steels.
I hate that I love my Civvi knives so much.
Also, Sencut, Kizer, Vosteed, and others.

I bought the white one and the steel isn’t D2 , and it definitely doesn’t hold a keen edge as long
It’s called the silver shaft model ( and your getting the shaft when you buy it)
This video is kinda misleading for me

D2 comes in orange, black or green.

The white knife is 100% a different blade material. I just looked at the Googler and found plenty of info. Plus you can see in the video that the handle sides are different also.

Bought last one at the store yesterday - going back today to see if our other WM has any - really sharp knife. I think the D2 (orange) is $10 and I suspect the (white) $5 is another steel - don't know as it doesn't say.

440a is what I was told by a local knife junkie , that video just said he was “ impressed he cleaned a deer and didn’t need to re profile the blade “
For $5 it’s YMMV lol 😝
