I know that the rimfires get alot of love. Does anyone have experience with CZ's 500 series rifles. Currently looking at Sakos and Tikkas but evertime I shoulder a CZ it feels great.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Not sure. New to hunting. I am looking for something in a 30.06 or 300 Win Mag. Open to all advice.

If you're buying used it could be the older 550 series. They are well praised. I've never owned one, though.

The new ones are the 557 series. They are a lot of gun for the money. I've owned 4.

If you like walnut stocks and blued steel that is what I would get. The CZ 557 in whatever cartridge you like.

If you like polymer stocks and stainless steel I would get a Tikka t3x lite.

Some eye candy for you. I have since sold it, but it is a CZ 557 in 243

I own a CZ rim fire and it’s fine, good shooter and smooth action. I agree with @TxxAgg in terms of tikka for synthetic not for walnut. Personally I’m a walnut blue fan, I own no synthetic. CZ walnut and finish quality is ok but nothing I have a love affair with. If you are looking for walnut and want accuracy go Sako all the way. The only reason I don’t run Sakos is I live in CO and only mtn hunt, they are just a bit too heavy (well built). I use a kimber classic 84m in walnut blue. The fit and finish are way beyond CZ but not as nice as Sako... but my walnut blued rifle is 6.5lbs all in with scope and shoots sub MOA. If you want a walnut blue mtn rifle don’t overlook kimber classics.
