CVA Accura LR-X 50 Cal Muzzleloader. Sku # PR3211NM Flat Dark Earth Cerekote and Black Stock. This was my primary muzzleloader this year topped with a Leupold VX Freedom Muzzleloader Ultimate Slam 3-9x40mm scope (Sku # 174184) mounted in Leupold Backcountry 1” Medium Matte Cross Slot Scope Rings (Sku # 175117).
It is sighted in at 100 yards with 70 grains (by weight) Blackhorn 209 (Lot # 48), 300 grain Barnes MZ Expanders and CCI Magnum Primers.
With this load it is averaging 1,867 FPS and groups roughly 2.5 inches or less. I used the NRA 50 Yard Small Bore Rifle Target which probably left some accuracy on the table because the Leupold reticle is outlined in a circle which covers the target perfectly at 100 yards, I.e. I wasn’t “aiming small to miss small” (I just needed it for New Hampshire muzzleloader season).
